Clubs at school

Web Club
Web Club is a group of Year 6's who are responsible for maintaining this website!
It is run from 12.30 until 1.10pm on a Monday in the Computer Suite by Mrs. Ward.
Dot Club
This is an Art club for Year 6 only.
It is run from 3.15 pm until 4.15pm on a Wednesday in the Year 2 classroom by Mrs. Wimbush and Mrs. Hunsley.
Netball Club
This is a Year 6 only club were you can play Netball.
It is run from 12 untill 12.30 pm on a Wednesday on the Netball court on the playground by Mrs. Sargent.
Earlier this year, some of the Netball team went to a tournament at the Warriner secondary school. They won all of their group matches and only lost in the finals, but had a great time.
French Club
French club is for all ages to learn a bit of French.
It is run on a Wednesday lunch time in the library by Jenine who comes in especially.
Gardening Club
This club is for all ages and is improving the school's gardens.
It is run on a Wednesday lunch time in the courtyard by three parents who come in especially.
Gymnastics
This is a club where you can learn and perform gymnastics.
It is run on a Wednesday at 3.15pm in the hall, by a parent.
Recorders
This club is for students who want to learn and play the instrument.
It is run on a Thursday lunch time in the library, by a parent, Mrs. Watts.
Football
This is for Year 5 and 6 only, and you can come along and play Footie!
It is run on a Thursday at 3.15pm untill 4.30 on the School field by Mr. Fane.
He expects you to have the proper kit.
Holy Club
This is an acting club but with a difference...... the clue is in the name!
It is run on a Friday lunch time in the Computer Suite by Deddington's Vicar, Father Hugh.
Choir
This is a club where you can sing your heart out, and go to concerts.
It is usually in the library, and is run by Mrs. Tinsley.
Homework Club
This club is for students who want time and assistance with their homework.
It is run by a teacher and takes place in a classroom.
Sports Club
This is a new and highly successful club where students can try all sorts of sports.
It is for KS1 and KS2, and takes place on the field, or in the hall if it is wet.
Deddington School is very keen to develop more clubs and activities in order to further develop the skills of our students. If any parent has an idea, and is prepared to put in the time, please speak to Mrs Tinsley. A full CRB check is required, but we can arrange that.
