The 3^rd Annual Deddington Walk – Sunday 20^th May 10am    

“Going the extra mile”

With just two weeks to go, the 3^rd Annual Deddington Walk is shaping up to be an exciting and exhilarating day for all!  Despite the little picture (our warped sense of humour!) we are quietly confident that the weather will be kind to us this year and that the true beauty of our surrounding countryside will shine through!

SPONSORSHIP

Accompanying this newsletter you will find a sponsorship form for your child to collect as many sponsors as possible from friends and family.  Please ensure that the Gift Aid box is ticked where applicable because this ensures we receive another 28p in the £ from HM Revenue & Customs!  To encourage your child to collect sponsors we are offering a prize for the child in both KS1 and KS2 who raises the most sponsorship money!  Completed sponsorship forms and money should be placed in the collection box in the school foyer from Monday 21^st May.

HOUSE POINTS!

In addition we are, once again, offering valuable house points to all children completing the Walk:

      3 points for completing the 12 mile walk (Clifton/Hempton)

      2 points for completing the Clifton loop

      1 point for completing the kiddie walk

So, dust off those walking boots/trainers etc and join us. There are surprises lined up along the route and food, a licensed bar and some great entertainment waiting for you back at The Windmill Centre along with an unusual challenge……..!!
